The second design is where most architecture is lost. Not through bad intent, but through the slow erosion of detail under the pressures of program, budget and information flow.

de Lune was founded on the idea that the builder's job is to protect the first design through the rigour of the second. That requires architectural literacy, commercial-grade systems, and a particular kind of patience. It requires understanding that a drawing is not an instruction set. It is a narrative about how a building should feel, resolved at the scale of a millimetre.
